Starting in mid-September, leaves turn colors in waves of yellow, orange and red - a real pleasure for eye to observe the colors of autumn
A short explanation for these colors here...

Ce fain! Nu am prea apucat sa vad peisaje de astea...am trecut direct la iarna :p. Imi place si cum brazii din fata ies din planul celorlalti copaci si creeaza un efect 3D.

Stunning autumn colours!
I can do with that now since the season here was more like a mess, the leaves were blown off the tree while they still were green hehehe...
The rich vibrant colours in the image are really amazing!

A very beautiful & intense autumnal colors. I never had the luck to see these colors the last few time I visited the four season countries ... I guess not being at the right location at the right time. Just returned two weeks ago. Saw very beautiful autumnal colors while in the car on the way to the airport but I could do nothing about it :). Regards. Latiff.

Whaouh!I didn't realise you enjoyed "Indian Summer" in Romania!
Well, it's understandable really, because the phenomenon is caused by the species of the trees of course, and by the sudden change in temperatures, while the weather is still sunny or makes a sunny comeback! I believe you had snow earlier in the season.
In Brittany where I live, we rarely experience this beautiful autumn foliage, because we have a very temperate climate at all times!
Your picture is a real delight! Did you take it from the top of a hill?
