Photographer’s Note

Visiting Oradea after long long time(last time was 17 years ago )I had the best guides,2 TE members, Lucian and Liviu
It was a full,wonderful day,not only because of the beauty of this old city,but was very nice to meet old friends .Once again,THANK YOU my dears for that day !!!!!
The last place before to go at airport,it was this building, known under the name of Canon's Row.It was realized after the thought of bishop Pal Forgach and served as house of the ecclesiastical persons. The 10 stock building built in different stages within apx. 100 years (1750-1875) keeps a unique aspect thanks to the arched passage long of 253 m lean on 56 massive supporting columns.

Dear Isabela,
This is almost visual music -- with the repeated interplay of shapes and subtle shades, the strong rhythm of light and shade along the arches,the dancing shadows on the wall and the soft base of the wooden (?) floor. Beautifully done.

A very beautifully composed and implemented shot. The light is ideal, producing the colors and textures that make this an exquisite photograph. I think I was in Oradea but it was such a long time ago and i do not remember anything. I like this photo so much! The perspective of these arches is incredible. The lights and shadows are also superb. Great work!

I am impressed with this repetitive archway of the corridor with the good play of light+shadow effect and forming a great graphic pattern of vision.

It is quite interesting to note that everywhere in each cities, there are some architecture styles that produces this kind of arches and scenes, although each place has its own characteristics of local flavor.

Greetings Isabela,

I love the perspective! It's enhanced by the textures in the floor tiles, and the lighting change from bright in the foreground, to dim partway back, to bright again in the background. Good idea to include people in the hallway to give the picture some life. Impressive clarity.

It's funny how many different styles you have ;-)
You shoot everyting what comes in sight. Sometimes simple snapshots, sometimes high class images like this. Light Isabela, that's the key and you found it here. It shines golden and the perspective depth does the rest in this great shot.
Maybe the best you ever made when it comes to this kind of work...!!!
