Photographer’s Note
Traditional old out buildings and farming equipment from Transilvania. The significance of the location in Transilvania of this image will be understood by any Dracula fans. Anyone who has read the novel by Bram Stoker or seen the last remake with Keanu Reeves will know Tihuta Pass by its old name, Borgo Pass. It is the location of Draculas Castle. It is where Johnathan Harker is taken to meet Count Dracula at his castle. The 'Castle' is able to be seen from this spot, out of picture to the right. There is a legend that says there was a castle here once long ago, today the only castle is a replica hotel built in the traditional style to capture the mood and history related to the Bram Stoker story. The equipment and buildings seen here are the impliments used by the nuns who inhabit the monastery here and live off the land.

It's not a wonder that a lot of productionteams goes to Romania to search for enviroment to shot commericials.
A Nice romantic "vintage" style photo with a beautiful sky over the hills in the background.

Hi.
I love the tone of the buildings and equipment. I might try to bring back down the brightness in the sky just a touch.
take care,
John

Super composition, S & I. I love the tones here. The clouds might benefit from some burning, but not necessarily; it might be interesting to experiment. Well done.

Hi Steve
What a stunner! the sky is really good and i love the nice contrasts in the foreground.
The B+W is an obvious choice for this place, it reminds me more of Mel brooks version of Frankenstein:)
Do you live in transilvania, and is there really castles ruins like we see in the movies there?
Regards
Harry

Agood choice to present this image in B&W. Very nice detail in the wooden implements and out buildings and the sky adds some interest as well.
Well done.
Phil
