A typical rural scene among the farms and hills of the central Carpathian Mountains. Dracula fans will be familiar with this place as the location in Bram Stoker's novel of Dracula's castle. There's no castle here, just a hotel built to resemble the fabled haunt of Romania's most infamous character.

Beautiful scenery. I like the B/W here making the photo match the landscape with those old farms. Fine details and sharp image.

Hi Steve, brilliant black and white shot, I love the fence leading the eye into the diatance and every thing in this shot is in the right place creating a perfect balance on the whole shot, the black and white makes it even more timeless misterious, many thanks for sharing and all the best, keep them coming, regards, Salas

Wonderful rustic b/w shot that has a timeless look about it. Maybe the frame is not quite right for this shot, but the subdued lighting and the subtle tones really work well. The perspective effect of the fence reflects your good viewpoint. Love those haystacks and the lines of trees on the slopes on the right.
