We’re sitting outside on the porch
Your head is softly resting on my shoulder
And our fingers are laced
And sitting on your lap
We gaze out at the countryside
As the sun sets upon it
The mixture of orange, red, and yellow
Is simply breathtaking
You tilt your head until your eyes
Are looking back at mine
Your beautiful face sets on my heart
And that’s more than
I could ever ask for
A gentle kiss rests upon your lips
As I take every moment in
The warmth of you being in my arms
Is sensuous
I pull you closer to me as
You lay your head back down on my shoulder
And there is no place that I would rather be
Than here, with you, right now
I love you today, tomorrow,
Forever…

Hi Pal Claudia, I can see from your beautiful Gallery that you appreciate the beauty and peace that a sunset brings us. I like your composition here, it is artistic and brings the photo away from being a "mere pretty sunset picture". The crops in sillhouette are a dynamic addition. Excellent work and TFS, Lisa.

Bonjour Claudia,
un contre jour pas facile du tout mais très réussi sur le plan des lumières; Je trouve que ce cadrage 50/50 laisse trop de place au noir du dessous, mais c'est sans doute un choix délibéré de ta part.
Un moment de doux repos pour les yeux et l'esprit.

Hello Clau!

Beautiful series of sunset, beautiful atmosphere, nice light management and wonderful warm colours! Maybe you should crop some of the lower dark part, bring to the lower 1/3 of the frame and leave more space (2/3) to the sky.

Buna Claudia,
Imaginea este frumoasa dar se putea si mai bine.
Nu stiu, de ce ai pus linia orizontului in mijloc.
Sa fi dat o nota mai expresiva imaginii era mai bine sa scazi trepte de compensare a luminii si sa focusezi pe soare.
Dar cred ca este facuta in modul AUTO deoarece nu vad detalii tehnice.
Astept sa vad,

Hello Claudia,

Few plants would make as compelling silhouettes as corns. I do agree with Hercules (Cretense) that I would make the dark portion about 0.3 sunlit portion about 0.7 parts of the height. To be really precise, I would make the lower portion 0.618 and the upper 1.000, in recognition of the golden ratio (or divine proportion).
