Photographer’s Note
Piata Victoriei is a wide, pedestrianized boulevard flanked on either side by shops and cafes. It slices the city centre of Timisoara down and is dominated by a monumental fountain in the middle. At the southern end of the boulevard is the massive structure of Orthodox Cathedral, built in 1946. The architectural style of the Cathedral blends neo-Byzantine and Moldavian elements. With its 83 metre high middle dome (known locally as Pantocrator), the cathedral is a startling sight, particularly so at night when it is lit up. The moon in the left corner of the photo is 100% genuine.

Great spectacle of waters, with golden background, everything very well balanced. The lighting was perfect, great shot.
