Photographer’s Note

already one week ago when we spent a great week end in the wonderful rural regions between Brasov, Sibiu and Sighisoara, visiting many old fortified churches, as this one, in Cincu.

That church is located on top of a small hill, surrounded by a nice parc where I also found a perfect model ;)

En fait dans cette composition je préfère de beaucoup la vieille grange à l'église.

C'est une photo magnifique!
La netteté, la gestion de la lumière, la profondeur et les couleurs sont excellentes!
Le point de vue ne pourrait pas être meilleur!
Le format vertical a été une choix parfaite!
La compo est chouette! J'adore ce ciel-là! J'aime beaucoup les détails architecturaux avec la nature partout!

wirklich toll gesehen! Diese renovierungsbedürftige Hütte als Vordergrund verleiht der Komposition viel Romantik. Und die Kirche ragt schön in den wunderschönen Himmel. Gefällt mir wirklich gut!

I like your composition here with the inclusion of the old hay barn in the foreground and the church towering above. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has fine sharpness.

hi Didier,
interesting how the golden light seems warm and nice, but still has that autumn quality that I cannot describe properly. crispy? soft? all kinds of mutually contradictory terms come to mind, but none of them really describes the beautiful, sort of quiet light that doesn't have the force of the spring or summer. great sky to cap the light-filled scene :)

Une bien belle lumiére avec un décor superbe.La vielle grange et le foin rangé pour l'hiver,une nature qui a pris ses couleurs automnales et une église qui pointe son nez vers un ciel nuageux.

Il semble que la vieille grange qui restent quelques jours de la vie, un merveilleux contraste à l'arrogance de l'église qui domine la ville.

Très jolie composition verticale, très bien pensée (on sent la concentration du photographe dans le WS) avec un superbe ciel et des couleurs soft (un tout petit peu trop peut-être?).

Oui, on a visiblement la même. On a bien fait de s'arréter au bord de cette route, ca donne une bien belle image. Ton traitement est peut être un poil surexposé.

Hello Didier,

En voyant cette image, j'ai bien cru que tu avais imité Jean-Yves en nous gratifiant d'un décor alsacien.
Il n'en n'est rien, si ce n'est que les ton automnales ressortent bien ici. J'aime beaucoup l'aspect pittoresque de l'image, notamment la vieille granges en avant plan.

Those beautiful cloud make this scenery even more beautiful. Great management on the light, all is very well exposed but not too light. Sure is a beautiful and very hummble rural scene from Romania. I always wish I could eventually go there one day. Thanks for this beautiful shot.

J'aime beaucoup la lumière qui se dégage de cette image. Les couleurs sont très agréables. J'aime bien le point de vue qui donne une large place à ce ciel très photogénique.
