Photographer’s Note
He is a lonely dog.
Just looking for a home.
He has no place to go, no one to call my own.
He wanders up and down the streets, and bridges in rain in heat and snow
He eats whatever he could find,he is always on the go....
My dedication for my dear friend Subir, because he loves dogs,as me too :)

Aha... so this is the black and white, daylight version of that nice shot Teo posted a few month ago. It looks great, Isabela. Beautiful perspective. The little dog doesn't stand out well enough but the the scale difference between him and the dam as well as the deserted road fit well with the feeling you want to transmit. The composition is very good. Light management is good as well.

I am cats' father but I like dogs too. Every animal is like a child, almost helpless in this cruel world.
This is really important and truly poignant photo. The huge dam of concrete against the lonely dog...
And your note is very impressive too.
Regards my dear friend.

Hi Isa,
I like serpentine road more than anything else in your picture. The choice of BW is also nice. Sorry dear I don't like dogs.

Hi Isabela, brilliant shot using the road on the top of the dam.
the b/w is perfect for that image, and POV, contrast and exposure are all good.
thanks, ciao

Bonjour Isabella,
Pauvre chien! Il risque gros à se balader en pareil endroit.
Une bonne compo. Le noir et blanc convient très bien.
Les courbes donnent une belle perspective.

Hi Isabela
I love the sweeping curve of the road. I also like the contrast between the bright dam wall on one side of the road and the dark water on the other side of the road. I would have preferred if the road exactly met the bottom corners of the frame though.
Best regards

Hi Isabela, beautiful composition. Very meaningful. It's always sad to see the poor animals abandoned to their own luck. It's cruel. Your photo is so well composed. The separation created by the road is amazing and matches perfectly with the thema. After all the dog is separated from the rest of the world. Wonderful B/W conversion. A trully masterpiece.
well done

Hello Isabela,
A wonderful photo of this poor stray dog in this lonely and hostile environment. I am a "sucker" for animals also. I have rescued a few stray dogs, cats and injured birds. I am a loyal servant to my two cats. Your composition here is superb!

Maybe "Find the dog" would be more suitable?:))It's late, I'm tired and I don;t see well so u gave me a hard time finding this dog, I even searched the water!!! Great perspective Isabela, the b&w is perfect and the curve dominating here, but damn, u made me feel a little sad about this dog now, I love dogs as well.
Have a good night,

Hello Isabela.
Wow, I'm blown away by your photograph. The fluid lines, the classic B&W toning...the lonely dog. We, as humans, are so closely associated with dogs that the sight of this loner pours humanity into this otherwise static photograph. So distant, we can barely make him out against the immense structure of human ingenuity. Reallu a wonderful photograph.
Regards,
Chris.

Hello, Isabela,
This is a stunning shot! I love the composition and POV with that winding road through it and the way you can tell how far down it goes. It is beautifully divided and balanced and the B&W is perfect. Very nice note, too. Hope you are well and happy! Kind regards,
Shelly.

Hi Isabela. Loneliness well accommodated and not allowed to go unseen and unswept in this sweeping curve of the roadway with mirror still water beneath. B/W seems to be the fittest for this marvel shot. Regards.

Yes!
I fancy this photo in many ways.
The lonelyness of the dog, the strong composition with the perfect curve (It's allmost a Ying & Yang photo) the darkness of water the light of the dam, the roughness of rock the smothness of the water, and its BW.
an other thing, I like dogs

I like the bent lines in this image. The road (and wall) making a wonderful curve seperating the dark and the bright half of the photo, wonderfully seen. B&W serves the concrete wall and rock faces very well.

You have taken a lovely image here with the sweeping dam wall dividing the water and river
and contrasting clean lines of the dam and rugged rock. A very nice and pleasing image

Bonjour Isabela,
Bien amicalement.
Daniel.

Hello Isabela,
Beautiful graphical presantation of a road on a dam. To be honest the effect of the lines in the image is so strong you don't realize the dog :) Well done with this well composed image.

Hi Isabela
What an impressive POV and beautiful choice of B&W… is their a place that high that you can stand on? Is it part of a bridge or just high ground?
I needed to read your note to find the dog in the road … :)

Ottima composizione.
Il B&W è appropriati.
Le linee curve ce partono dagli angoli dell'immagine e finiscono per unirsi in un altro angolo danno un grosso dinamismo alla foto.
Bella anche la differenza materica tra le varie zone dell'immagine. (aria - acqua - terra)

This is a fantastic shot in B&W of the dam. Excellent composition with interesting geometrical shapes. And as for the dog- it took me a while to find it because it is so small.

Very amazing composition. All of the lines flow perfectly into the image, and the split between concrete, road, and water is great. Excellent use of black and white, it really brings a powerful feel to this composition. Nicely done, thanks for sharing!

Hi Isabela,
I've been attracted by this shot in the moment I've seen the thumbnail, because the curve of the road, crossing the compo in a very dynamic way. It's very graphical the outcome. After I've seen the dog, that adds for sure. Very beautiful, my friend. Thans for it!

the curves of the dam&the road lines alone would make this picture very appealing to me anyway, but the addition of this lonely dog and your supporting notes give this image much more impact :)

I'm still discovering your gallery, which is full of fascinating shot. I love this one as it has a stunning compo, depth and pov. I'd like to use selective colour for the dog and make it light brown/yellowish. I thought it could give a more striking effect.
Congrats,
