Photographer’s Note

In Romania, the capital Bucharest continues to sizzle under heat wave, and this pic was taken in the centre of the city near artesian fountains (Union Square ) and there an local artist had this original idea to paint the water in different colors
Sure, wanted to do this view more dramatic to show how Bucharest is boiling these days…….and the previous ones too
There in background you can see the Parliament’s building(the second bigest building in world ...look here)

this is onther side of the abstraction...abstraction made by reality...
(we heard here about that heat in romania and other neighbouring countries, in poland though we suffer from heavy stroms and rain)

Hello dear Isabela,
Like a surrealistic painting. İt could be Dali or Picasso as well !
You can easily take a print of it, frame it (with a nice passepartout, preferably black) and hang it to your wall. And see what happens !

Too bad to see this extreme heat is continuing, it must be quite terrible to endure this during such a long time !
what I like in this abstract picture is that even though you tried to post a refreshing picture with water its color turned to warm due to your captor being overheated ;-))

Do you find this composition and the subject of this photograph abstract?
Are simplicity of form or composition detrimental to the production of good abstract photography, or is simplicity a possible key to a successful abstraction?
What makes a great abstract photograph?

The composition, colour, & light quality make this a WONDERFULL IMAGE, even more so once viewed larger & realizing what it truly is.
Beautiful in every detail!! The golden tones are wonderful. The diverse range of work in your portfolio is fantastic.

My first flash of the thumbnail struck me as sunlit vs shaded areas of a corrugated metal wall. When enlarged, seeing the title, & seeing what it really is, it REALLY is a great shot.

Hi Isabela, the photo really pas that hot sensation. The yellow tones in the water to me gaves a dramatic photo, as furute view of a apocalitic day. The water contaminated with radiation and the buildings only shadows of what they were one day...hope this doens't happen.

whaaaat?! I really can't understand what's this all about! the picture is too full, it's disturbing to the human eye, not quite natural colors, and further more, seems like there are a bunch of people that are throwing up. and I mean up! nothing dramatic, nothing that seems like heat, nothing that can make you imagine how hot it is. it's just like a giant vomit.

You have a fantastic image here! I have been a photographer for twenty years and I still don't know how you composed this photo. I think that this abstract image of yours would do fabulously in a fine-art multi-media or photography exhibit. This is truly a one-of-a kind work of art here! I hope that it cools off sometime soon for you. Denver has been having some 98-102 degree F heat lately, but it is probably not as humid as the Romanian heat. I hope that it cools off soon in your region.
