Fascinating subject of this interesting architecture, the B&W works well, and I don't really mind the signs. It looks like two pics in one though, the cobbles and the street, both nice, but I'm not really sure where to look, I think you crop this differently with one of each.
Hi Lucian,
Talking about contrast! Just look at those clouds! How did you convert this one to black and white?! It's like the clouds are just hanging a few metres above those buildings.
I don't mind the traffic signs. It's part of the city. I might have corrected for distortion on the right buildings.
Good point of Richard about 'where to look?'. It's in your face with the contrast and darker shaded parts. That's pleasant, but there is not a clear focus point. The end of the road? Perhaps. The clouds? Yep, for me it's the skyline I guess.
Greetings!
Dennis

Dear Lucian,
This is your reality in visions, sometimes.
The moods of street sing along your thoughts.
I feel this like from a war picture gallery... which says the story of a community vanished off..
The B/W conversion does the magic.
Even the sky turns in love with your camera..
All the best, dear friend.

The highly contrasted B&W is superb and the POV too. You also managed a very good DOF. It is a pity the traffic signs are there but, I guess, there is nothing you could do about it. Well done.
