Photographer’s Note

Church at Faetano (inside view in the workshop). I choose this picture today because in the TE galerie is no picture about the eastern region of San Marino.

The municipality of Faeteno joined to San Marino in the year 1463 after the war against the Malatestas of Rimini. The fortress was destroyed and in its place is today the church. The historical fortress lay more highly on the rock, which is removed however today.

Bonjour Achim
Un bon cliché de cette jolie église à l'architecture intéressante. C'est juste dommage pour les instruments de travaux et cette voiture rouge qui trone en plein milieu. Tu aurais du la pousser !

Disturbano pero' i cartelloni sotto gli alberi e le transenne vicino l'entrata della chiesa.
Ho fatto un WS per eliminarle.

Hello Achim,
A pretty composition of this lovely church. The point of view is well chosen to show us as much of the architecture as possible. I like how the stairs take the yes towards the door. Very good colours and clarity. Just a pity about the awkwardly parked car whose colour makes it rather difficult to overlook.

Good clear capture of this church. The red car seems to add to the shot - somehow. The colors are really crisp.

Very nice shot of the church. Your composition and POV are great showing the church from an angle that gives the shot nice depth and shows good detail. The upward view gives the building and sense of height and direction. The lighting and colors are fine and the sharpness is great.

schöne Aufnahme! Das rote Auto sorgt für einen tollen Kontrast und die Schärfe ist klasse. Das Licht ist auch sehr schön, gefällt mir sehr gut!

eine anderen Parkplatz hättest Du schon wählen können, oder bekommst Du Rabatt/Prozente? Sehr schöner Blick auf die Kirche mit derm Grün links gut das Bild ergänzend. Mir gefällt der gut ausgeleuchtete Schatten der Fassade, gute Details ubnd ein schöner Himmel.

Hallo Achim. Eine interessante Kirche mit außergewöhnlicher Architektur. Gut, dass Du dieses Motiv in die TE-Galerie aufgenommen hast. Bei dem roten Auto bin ich mir nicht ganz klar, ob es nun stört, oder ob es entsprechend der Wirklichkeit ins Bild gehört. Als Photograph hat man natürlich nicht die Möglichkeit endlos zu warten, bis das Motiv wie gewünscht erscheint. Wie auch immer, das Photo ist sehenswert. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.

The point of view showing the two sides of the church is an asset to the composition. The trees are a good frame to the subject. The light brings out the best of the colors. Have a nice day.
