Photographer’s Note
Again today a view that shows two countries, the foreground roofs belong to San Marino while the hilly landscape behind is in Italy, this is the kind of spectacular vista San Marino offers all around from its elevated position.

Salut JEan-Yves,

I wonder how long you spent in San Marino, jean Ives, to get so many wonderful landscapes. I can't remember how many castles you said it had, but you seem to have selected a view from each of them, making a great record of this interesting place. You seem to have found wonderfully clear weather too. This one is amazing, giving the pattern of the roofs and the distant fields in sharp detail. This series has been so enjoyable and presents a very detailed record on the place and its location. regards Kevin

Hey Jean Yves,
I normally see wide sweeping landscapes of hills and small towns in frame but don't see much of its details. Here you took a tight and full shot of both. Architectural character of San Marino with Italy not no far away. It's like viewing it yourself out from a window. It shows your skills in composing such amazing POV!
Best Regards

Hola Jean Yves.
A very impressive landscape captured from a high point of view, the presence of the beautiful houses produces a great perspective with the sparse villages and the mountains. At the same time you were able to bring us an amazing view of San Marino and Italy.
Well done, Good shot.
Best regards.

Hi Jean-Yves. What a view you had up there! You did a top-notch job of including the buildings as an interesting foreground. It might have been better with your wide-angle but you were wise to do the portrait orientation to get the better framing and composition. Excellent work JY.

I like the division of the frame JY. The FG is a classic Italian house, the BG is this beautiful look at the Italian countryside. Very nice work.

Salut Road Terror,
