This is a view taken from the Cesta fortress, one of the three castles defending San Marino, beyond the walls you can see the fields landscape of surrounding Italy far below the Monte Titano San Marino has been built on.

Hi Jean Yves,
Very nice photo from San Marino. I like the sharp foreground of the stones and the vaguer shaper of the landscape behind this gate. Beautiful colours, beautiful blue sky with some tiny clouds and nice wide view.

the pov is very good here and thanks to it and the perfectly chosen vertical format, you obtained two distinct perspectives: the courtyards and the surrounding landscapes. The shadow of the wall is a very good adding because balances the shot very well, breaking the monotony of the grey walls.

Cette forteresse est décidemment très photogénique ! Tu as de nouveau trouvé un point de vue superbe pour nous la faire découvrir ! Je trouve ta gestion des lumières admirable ! Les ombres ne sont pas bouchées ! C'est tout bon ! Je sais que ce n'est pas ton truc mais on pourrais dire que c'est du HDR !

J'aime beaucoup cette image de la forteresse et de sa situation dominante sur le pays. J'aime aussi sans restriction les couleurs parfaitement naturelles des pierres et tuiles sans tricherie. Un superbe point de vue et un cadrage exemplaire. Bravo.

Hi JY, despite San Marino being so small it rendered you some spetacular composition and a very good series. I wonder how many shots do you need to cover this tiny place. The wide angle shot with the details in the close below and the far below with the tower embracing all the view is fantastic.

Ton haut point de vue est fantastique. J'aime beaucoup la perspective géometrique, l'angle formé par ces murs, et le parfait arrière-plan. La nettetè est superbe, l'ambiance clair. C'est fantastique l'ensemble! C'est une belle preuve de comment le format vertical est bon pour l'architecture, mais aussi pour les paysages! Très bien fait. Merci!
