Photographer’s Note
Two days ago I showed you the Palace of local administration in Italian Montepulciano and Korkut mentionned he first had believed the picture was from San Marino.
So for Korkut and to be complete on this subject, here is the RSM version of the Administration palazzo, called the Palazzo Pubblico. It is the administrative center of the San Marino city, but because we operate here at country level in this tiny republic, it is also the official government building of the "Serenissima Repubblica di San Marino". To mark this highest level of administrative importance, the Palazzo is guarded day and night by the impressive local army forces, I wish i could have had such a nice uniform when I was in the army...
This elegant building is not as old as its italian counterparts, it was actually built between 1884 and 1894 on the site of a formerly existing "Domus Magna Comunis", however it is obvious here that the style inspiration came from the rich medieval history of San Marino.

Another amazing and very well crafted image with sharp and crisp colours, good textures and tones. I like the pov here and the overall composition.

Salut Jean-Yves,
Bonne journée et bon week-end,
Loïc

:)... this one looks waaay too small compared to the one in montepulciano... but i believe they both have similar features... in fact, i ve been to san marino in 1993 when i was an exchange student in bologna, and visited this palazzo also... beautiful "country"... thanks for the info jean yves...
regards

Salut Jean-Yves,

Hello Jean-Yves,
A very nicely lit composition with some good animation. I like the point of view and the framing from the wall on the left; the man leaning on the wall and watching the scene is a nice bonus. Very good colours and clarity.

Hello Jean-Yves,

That was a perfect day when you visited San Marino - the sky was such a deep blue and the air so clear. Another great shot of this tiny country with the beautiful architecture. I like that building and the tower especially - Excellent work to bring it to us!

Salut Jean Yves,
Amicalement
Jean-Luc
