Photographer’s Note

In the country the people greets you from far away, ask you kindly if anything could be done and is voluntary for a photo, with a modest condition that the photo should be pretty. So, a man put one leg ahead, a hand on the hip. Smile is large. In Belgrade, usually, people turns the head for avoid the radiation of camera, even with the open discontent. This is only one reason why I long for the country when I am at home.

Dans la campagne on vous dit bonjour du loin, on vous demande si jamais on pourrait faire quelque chose pour vous et sont volontiers pour une photo. Pourvu'que la photo soit belle. Pour poser, ils mettent une jambe un peu en avant, une main sur la hanche, s'ils ne portent rien. Et, le sourire large. A Belgrade, en general, on tourne la tete pour eviter la radiation de l'appareil photo, jusqu'au mecontentment ouvert. C'est seulement une des raisons pourquoi je souffre de la campagne quand je suis chez moi.

U selu vam još izdaleka požele dobar dan, priupitaju da li štogod mogu pomoći, rado se slikaju i požele da to bude lepo. Pritom ispruže jednu nogu napred, podboče se, ako već nemaju teret u ruci, i osmeh. U Beogradu, mahom okreću glavu na drugu stranu da izbegnu zračenje iz fotoaparata, pa sve do glasnog negodovanja. To je samo jedan od razloga zašto patim za selom kada sam kod kuće.

Bonsoir Branko,
Cet homme qui pose fièrement a sans doute vécu beaucoup d'évènements heureux et pénibles dans sa vie... J'aime comment le petit chien quit son maitre partout, même pour la photo.

Bonjour Branko,
Ce couple sympathique et uni a de l'allure et de la dignité. La pose est naturelle. J'ai voir aussi le village qui est bien tranquille et humain. le portrait est excellent, la qualité de la photo aussi. Bravo.

Anche il cane è un soggetto che rientra spesso nelle tue foto, dove mostri un grande amore per gli animali.

what a beautiful photo! It seems a photo of the past times, when the people of country placed proud for a photo. Surely the country, in comparison to the city, it gives truer and sincere photographic occasions, maybe more human, but also the city, with its contradictions, is part of our modern life. It's correct to also photograph that. Excellent image, done with your marvelous style. Bravo!

Hello Branko, Yes, this fellow Charlie, looks like someone who is at peace with the world in his local domain. A rather nondescript character. who probably walks this path or road daily with his dog. People shots like this are rare today. There always seems to be the urge to find someone or something sensational, whereas this is a very realaxing people picture. Well Done. Regards, Roger

J'aime bien ce portrait de Charlie et son chien. Ici, à Rennes aussi c'est la même chose, les gens ne veulent pas être photographiés. Par contre, c'est plus facile dans les campagnes.
