Someone once told me that including a red element saves any picture. So what if I include about one hundred red elements?
This is from the market in Nis city, southern Serbia

wow! LOL SO MANY "red elements" in one image!
Composition-wise and colour-wise, a perfect decision :)
Judging by the very slight blur of the image, I bet you took this shot while walking by - not deliberately choosing the POV? :)

first of all I like your note! Concerning all the red elements you were really lucky with the people here dressed in blue! This intense blue even emphasizes the red of the fruits.
