Horreum Margi je stari rimski naziv za Ćupriju.
Prica o Muzeju
Muzej HORREUM MARGI – RAVNO je osnovan daleke 1954. godine i bio je kompleksnog tipa. Sticajem okolnosti (poplava, nebriga, nezainteresovanost), rasformiran je 1972. godine. Muzej pod istim imenom, ali na drugoj lokaciji, ponovo oživljava 1994. godine. Inicijativom grupe gradana, novi–stari muzej se useljava u objekat "Stare pošte" koji se nalazi na antickom lokalitetu HORREUM MARGI (površine oko 550 m2). Prilikom kopanja temelja za garažu 1989. godine u dvorištu tadašnje Pošte otkriveni su delovi anticke arhitekture. Prema podacima iz pisanih izvora, arheoloških istraživanja i epigrafskog natpisa, zakljuceno je da se tu nalazi severoistocna kula antickog grada HORREUM MARGI iz 4. v. n. e.
Muzej je kompleksnog tipa. U svom sastavu ima arheološku (ujedno najbrojniju i najzastupljeniju), istorijsku, umetnicku i etnološku zbirku. Deo eksponata iz starog muzeja je nažalost, netragom nestao, deo se nalazi na cuvanju u Narodnom muzeju u Beogradu, Zavicajnom muzeju u Jagodini i sadašnjem muzeju.

The story of the Museum
Museum HORREUM MARGI - RAVNO was founded back in 1954 and was a complex type. Coincidentally (floods, neglect, indifference), disbanded in 1972. The museum of the same name, but at a different location, reinstated in 1994. The initiative group of citizens, the new-old museum moved into the building, "Old Post Office" located on the ancient site Horreum Margi (about 550 m2). When digging the foundations for a garage in 1989 in the courtyard of the former Post Office discovered parts of ancient architecture. According to written sources, archaeological excavations and epigraphic inscriptions, it was concluded that there is the northeast tower of the ancient city Horreum Margi from 4-th century.
The museum is a complex type. It has archaeological (also the largest and most frequently), historical, artistic and ethnological collection. Part of the exhibits from the old museum has unfortunately disappeared, the part is in the care of the National Museum in Belgrade, the Regional Museum in Jagodina and present a museum.

The converging diagonal lines going from bottom right to top left add good lead in lines and diminishing linear perspective. Good sharpness and well framed and composed. The museum interior has been well illustrated and the poster of the old church is eye catching. Tfs!

mada je fotografija vrlo "obična" informacija je jako vredna i hvala ti za nju! Prvom prilikom kada budem išao na jug neću samo proći pored Ćuprije već i svrnuti u nju, ako ništa drugo bar zbog muzeja (za kojeg nisam znao da ima toliko zbirki).

Super su ti WS, mnogo bolje fotografije od ove!
