This is the landmark of Banska Stiavnica/Selmecbanya/Schemnitz, the well known castle, a six-floor Renaissance building with four bastions, built to defend the rich city but it was never used in any battle as a fortress.

I've never been to Banska Stiavnica (yet!).
I really like your POV. The B&W conversion that you used and this high contrast really fits to this castle. TFS!
