Photographer’s Note
View from the top of Krivan 2494m. Krivan is one of the nicest peaks both to look at and down from in Slovakia.
Normaly its very crowded. To be able to stand alone at the top I started in complete darkness at 05.00 in the morning.
This photo was taken at around 09.00 looking west towards the West Tatra and the Mala Fatra.

Hi Mattias,
this view is amazing. The crosses are a very good subject and the snowy peaks are wonderful. Nice job!
TFS.

Hello Mattias,
You have shown quite the level of determination to get this perfectly crisp shot! Setting out at 5 a.m., when it does not get light till around 6.30!
Love the colours with the mixture of the blues and white and the composition with the cross and the rocks in the FG.
If you are a mountain lover, check out this www.horolezec.cz - perhaps you already know this photographer, I find him amazing. He just had an exhibition of his large-format (1x1 m) pictures in Prague this summer, but I missed it. Saw the previous one, though, which was spectacular.
Have a nice day, Dasha

Mattias:
Very hard place, nice view.
At our country, we don't have this snowed places.
Best Regards,
Gilberto
