This is my last picture from Maribor.

Beautiful city with many plesant places to see and enjoy !

I made this picture from a restaurante close to the Drava River

Maribor is the second largest city in Slovenia. The population of Maribor is approximately 133,000. Maribor lies on the river Drava at the meeting point of the Pohorje mountain, the Drava Valley, the Drava Plain, and the Kozjak and Slovenske gorice hill ranges. It is the center of the Slovenian region of Lower Styria and its largest city. Maribor Airport is the second largest international airport in Slovenia. The nearest larger urban center is Graz in Austria which is about 60 km (40 miles) away.

Maribor's coat of arms features a white pigeon flying downwards above a white castle with two towers and a portcullis on a red shield.

Popular tourist sites in Maribor include the 12th century cathedral in the Gothic style and the town hall constructed in the Renaissance fashion. The castle dates from the 15th century.
The city hosts the University of Maribor, established in 1961[4], and many other schools. It is also home to the oldest grapevine in the world called Stara trta, which is more than 400 years old.

Maribor is hometown of NK Maribor (www), a Slovenian football team. They participated in the UEFA Champions League in the 1999-2000 season.
Every January, the skiing centre of Mariborsko Pohorje, situated on the outskirts of the city on the slopes of the Pohorje mountain range, hosts women's slalom and giant slalom races for the Alpine Skiing World Cup known as Zlata lisica (The Golden Fox). Every June, the two-week Festival Lent (named after the waterfront district called Lent) is held, with hundreds of musical, theatrical and other. From wikipedia

Na outra foto pareceu-me que tinha visto aqueles repuxos mas como era de noite não tive a certeza. Esta veio confirmar isso. Obrigado.
ë uma ponte muito bonita, não haja dúvidas. E ambas as fotos estão excelentes. Para dizer a verdade, ainda não sei qual delas gosto mais.

Hello Aires.
Well framed shot with marvellous colours and light, and strong perspective view of the bridge. I love those sunlit grasses in the foreground - great composition. I think there's a slight tilt or possibly distortion which makes the building on the far left look like it is leaning to the left. This could be easily corrected and would improve the photo. I like the way one of the bridge arches is framing the town and the church.

Good perspective of the bridge and framing to get the curch under the arch, colors are not too strong for evening light I'd expect stronger red on the bridge, but it's all nice and sharp.

Very impressive POV to show the red bridge of steel arch construction and captured nicely in diagonal. I like the light and the blue sky in giving good contrast.

A nice touch to have a little yellow grass at FG. Very interesting to see the buildings on the other side of riverbank. A fine composition work. Sharp and good DOF.

Bien que cette photo soit très réussie, je prefère néanmoins la version de nuit: plus mystérieuse.
Le point de vue est toujours aussi bien choisi.

Otra excelente fotografía del puente de Maribor. Hay una buena perspectiva y me gusta mucho la presencia del pueblo detrás. Buenos colores, POV y una gran definición, buena iluminacion y detalles.

Bonjour,
belle photo de ce pont magnifique, ces jets d' eaux donne un bel effet en partant des pilaces. Ces herbes a l' avant donne une bonne profondeur a ce pont.
Il doit etre aussi magnifique de nuit.

Hello Aires,

A strong diagonal composition, where the curving arches add a dynamic touch!
The special colour of the bridge makes the structure really stand out, and matches well the blue sky...
A good point of view and a great feeling of depth!

You've already presented this bridge, but here, of course with a different pov. You made a good framing, including the grass in FG adding depth to the image. I like to see the village with the church through the arch adding distance!

Mais uma de suas belas fotografias, mostrando essa linda ponte (gosto muito dessas construções humanas, a princípio, sobretudo hoje em dia, estruturas comuns e simples, mas que sempre permitiram, literalmente, grandes transposições, grandes avanços e conquistas!).
A luminosidade, as cores e o ponto de vista escolhido estão muito bons aqui! Pelo menos no monitor em que estou no momento, a foto não me parece excessivamente nítida, o que, no caso, fez muito bem ao resultado final!
