Photographer’s Note

Ptuj is the oldest city in Slovenia. It dates back to the Stone Age and was settled by Celts by the Late Iron Age.By the 1st century BC, the settlement was controlled by Ancient Rome. In 69 AD, Vespasian was elected Roman Emperor by his legions in Ptuj, and the first written mention of the town of Ptuj is from the same year.
Ptuj is situated in Lower Styria (northeastern Slovenia) and has about 23,000 inhabitants. There are great number of old and nice corners. The town is small and cosy. Seighteeing there is a real pleasure.

A beautiful view of Ptuj, haven`t been there in a while, though I have some friends down there, the colors and the textures are amazing, while the pov and perspective are spot on. Fine work.

Lovely shot of what sounds like a really interesting place. Nice leading line from the path and lots of different colours from the building walls. I hope you don't mind but I've tried a workshop, so let me know if you like it :)

Hi,

the grittyness in the pic is amazing. Perhaps I would have panned over to the right a bit and included less of the wall on the left. I just feel like that part is perhaps a bit dull and giving the houses in the center more space could have looked good too. Still, a great capture.
