Photographer’s Note

Old fortress in the valley of river Koritnica close to Bovec in Slovenia. The photograph is taken from the entrance to a tunel which is a part of a world war I fortification system. The shot was made with a medium format camera.

I think this picture is very beautiful and interesting but it lacks contrast..

Nice shot, well framed with plenty of interest and good pull into the centre.
I love the soft sepia effect also.

There is a real mood in that picture! I really like the framing of the tunnel. It puts the mountains in the background to a smaller human size.
