Photographer’s Note
The River Soca was well up after thunderstorms and the limestone in the area turned it this chalky, milky white.
Normally the river has this amazing turquise colour, so much so that one American visitor thought its normal colour was due to pollution.
I canoed the river later and the whiteness made some of the rapids a bit awkward to 'read'
A beautiful country indeed.
Taken on an early Olympus C860 digital camera.
