Photographer’s Note

Ibex on a ledge near the hut of Prehodavci. In November the hut is already closed so I slept in the winter chamber. The good side is that a lot more animals can be seen than during the summer months when our mountains are crowded with people.

i find ibexes to be extremely photogenic "actors". this one is no exception. i feel you have done a very good job at sharing its beauty with us. perfect clarity on the animal.

Hello Jernej,
I have been browsing on the TE gallery off and on for the past couple of days and this excellent wildlife photo keeps on getting my attention. Your image of the Ibex is a first-rate wildlife photograph! I did wildlife photography years ago and I know how time consuming and difficult this can be... a test of patience and perseverance. You were also wise to include some notes because the image is so sharp and well-composed that I thought at first that it was a zoo shot. Zoo shots are fine if the photographer states so, but doing this in the wild gives it a whole new level of difficulty. Beautiful photo job!

Impresivna fotografija, izostreno (in blurano) je perfektno, super kompozicija in kontrasti med barvami. Teleobjektiv uporabljen za tisto kar je ustvarjen. :)
Kul okvirji, čeprav bi dal jaz mal več bele najbrž.
