Golden trees II Photo

Photographer’s Note

Some time ago I posted capture named Golden Trees I. Well, here are now Golden Trees II. This picute was taken on the same day with late afternoon light and as hard as I tried to figure it out, how those trees up in the hill are so selectively illuminated, I never actually find out.
This was taken in front of the fortress known as Kluze. It was built on a strategic connection between the Predel pass - Loška Koritnica valley and the basin of Bovec. The architecture of the fortress is from the end of the 19th century. It was in a 'blind corner' in the time of the I.WW and was not damaged. Present fortress was renovated and now it hosts a museum display of the I. WW.

It looks like I'm always very prompt,it happens.It seems also
that you like very much the trees and playing with the foreground
and the background,making a great contrast many times.It also seems that you like gold in photos.Very nice Jeri.

Hey Jeri,

Super fotka. Krasne barve, oz. odtenki zlate v stoeni variaciji, ustvarla si več kot dobro vzdušje. Fina globina, pravzaprav se med drevesi v ospredju in ozadju razvija en presunljiv, skoraj bizaren kontrast.
Pa vidim da je isto že omenil Horatiu. :D

First of all congratulations on your recent acquirement of a D70S..... and I envy your dearest and his D300! This one is a nice artistic image.The lack of detail, deep contrast and splash of colour really giving an "oil painting" feeling to it.An interesting and original piece.....well done.

Dear Jeri,
an impressive image.
of course, this contrast between lighted golden color of trees and dark trees in the shadow is dramatic and enough to express the shining and the shade.
and this composition made of lighted fore ground and partially lighted islands and darkish sea of trees is very artistic.
you make impressive picture with this contrast and composition, but I don't think that your visual imagination is superficial...
when you viewed this landscape, you might hear the voice from the existence that disguised itself as trees. and it may reach me from this forest through your camera and eye. I do listen to both clear golden voice and low dark voice...

I like the way you have composed this capture. Nice black frame that fits the shadows and the frame divided in two, a bright and continuous foreground and a spotted upper half. The colors are great of course and you are very creative and talented

This is a fscinating shot . Wonedrful colors mark this shot. However, I have onr thing to say, if possible avoid the footer and let nature speak for itself. However its only a personal opinion.
