Photographer’s Note
These are not goal posts for the villages to play soccer but covered racks for farmers to dry hay for the animal. They are made of wood and often artistically designed and handcrafted. I saw Kozolec all over this Zgornjesavska valley but few with hay hung on them ... perhaps not the right time of the year. The Kravanke Range is in the background behind which lay the state of Carinthia, Austria. And right behind me would be the foot of the Julian Alps.

Hello Latiff, A very interesting landscape. The colors are signicant and the hay frames are noteworthy. From the brown and orange tones, one can detect the note of autumn. Very nice compostion as well. I must visit Slovenia again. I never seem to get past Vienna when I am in that part of the world. Cheers. Roger
