Photographer’s Note

I was there in Hrastovlje on a very hot day in last summer; now its grey in grey in Austria, and its a joy for me to look at photos like this one, missing only the chirping of cicadas..
Inside the church there are the Frescos of Johannes v. Castua (1490), the Dance of Death.

Hallo Christine,
der Busch links ist wichtig, gibt dem ganzen Tiefe. Das Licht ist auch schön. Das ist ein Platz, wo ich schon lange mal hinwollte. Man müsste dort einen Hügel finden, wo man die einzigartige Architektur dieser Kirche sieht, sie steht allein in einer quadratischen Burgmauer (hab mal eine Luftaufnahme gesehen). Und dann bei Morgenlicht...
Aber auch so ein bemerkenswertes Bild.

Hi Christine.
You have a lot of green in your pictures, and this is not an exception. Well, the building looks interesting. The field in front makes great lines leading to the building, but in my opinion this would be a great opportunity to use the rule of thirds. I think maybe you could try to avoid the bush to the left. TFS.
