Travelling across Andalucía, one encounters the most astounding countrysides and the most marvellous light. If one has the possibility of travelling around Spain by car, then I reccomend it far more than travelling by plane, as one con discover and enjoy the most amazing sights, such as this, a predawn shot (taken from a car cruising along the highway at 120 km/h) on the A-92 road(Andalucía's "backbone", as it were).
This point of the road is in the northern tip of the province of Almería, and we were travelling towards southern Valencia (the famous "Costa Blanca", with pretty whitesanded beaches and turquoise mediterranean sea. I strongly reccomend visiting the towns of Calpe and Altea - I discovered then a couple of weeks ago).
The shot, taken from behind a windscreen and from a car in movement, needed a few colour and saturation adjustments, and I added a pretty frame just becuase I happen to like those sort of embellishments, even though I know "purist photographers" consider them too postcardish. |
