Photographer's Note

A giant waterwheel and the ruined old flour mill of Albolafia on the banks of the Guadalquivir River which runs through Cordoba. Part of the old Roman Bridge can be seen in the bg. Apparently it is a reconstruction of an old Roman water wheel, but in the 15th century, Queen Isabella, the Catholic queen of Spain, had it taken down to remove its annoying, squeaking noise.
