[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
The Patio de la Acequia (Court of the Water Channel) in the Generalife (Architects Garden), part of the Alhambra has this long pool framed by flower beds. The 19th century fountains were designed to echo the arched porticos at each end.

A bit of a chiche this view, and i wondered at the time how many other people must have had this exact view in their viewfinder... I'm not entirely happy with the light that i had, but i couldn't resist the lovely perspective of this row of waterfalls.

Just cropped to centre, sharpened and resized.

I like the very symetric composition; not extremely original I guess but still nice. On the other hand, I think you might have overdone it a bit on the sharpen. It's pretty obvious on the roof and leaves that you used a filter; maybe it might be worth it to apply the sharpen only locally where it's needed?

wow ! very nice shot Steve. marvelous fountain

This is an excellent perspective view of the fountains. It has been a good idea from you to picture this. Good composition also colourwise. well done Steve.

Cheers

Great shot!I like the POV and DOF.Very good colors and good contrast between them.I like the textures, light and sharpness.Good shadows.Well done!

Even if it's a cliched view, you still pulled it off very well. I like all the symmetry, and repeating themes. What's most impressive, however, is the lack of people. I saw this shot when we were there, but with people crawling all over, I didn't even bother!

S0 thanks - it's the photo I wanted but couldn't get :)

This is one the most beautiful perspectives of the Alhambra, and you captured it really well, even having a midday sunny light the pool is very well exposed. Jesus

nice image here, but the wall on the right is overexposed, but I like the centre lining, very good water display shown here, well done

Hi Steve, I like here the perspective traced by this pool that grants depth to your photo, beside that the capture of the water in motion is interesting at the top it looks like freezed while at the bottom there is a strong sensation of movement.

The symetry is very great Steve, the fontain with the water drops beneath is lovely, the building front excellent in the background gives nice depth, the four green plant op the forground is a very nice detail.
Well seen!

Good composition and very nice photo. I also think the light isn't the best but you can't control the weather, so well done!

well steve out your archive i came to this one out Spain,
it is a well taken shot, a very good perspective shot, well composed, for myself I would have the end of the perspective something more to the right side for a better balance in the shot. But ofcoarse thats personal, very good job.
