... The norther portico was originally covered bya single-slope tiled roof and with a turret on the left (as seen from the patio).
It's twin, on the right, was added in the 19th century in an attempt at a symmetry that never existed.

There are two floors above the southern portico; the first has seven windows closed with wooden celosias; the upper floor is a gallery open to the courtyard through six arches and a central opening. The wooden lattice screen is late 19th century.

At each end of the porticos are these beautiful alcoves, spaces for respose, called alhamíes; one of them here depicted in all its decorative splendour.

Huraaaaa! Great pattern, seems like M.C. Escher's patterns! Try to watch few minutes in that: you will see something new behind the photo... that's the spirit!

This pattern is different - it's almost mesmerising, as you look at it the image appears to spin (no I have not been drinkink) - great colours and sharpness too :)

Another good shot from my favorite place, the Alhambra. I remebered this wall...I have a portrait with this as a background.

i like this pic a lot, i like close - ups, and this one is really good, there is no under or over expousure and because you didnt use the flash there is no reflection
