The Lions Den
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
This is yet another view of the Alhambra palace, the second last one I promise!
Well details of this place are sketchy at least, I desperately wanted to get closer to the lions to eliminate the fact that my photo was exactly the same as the person to my left!
This fountain (if i remember correctly) was a gift to the muslim inhabitants, by the Jewish. ( I hope this is correct!) this is of course called the lions court, but I thought lions den was a better title:P
I know its another bog standard shot but I really like the symettry I have got here, a few less people would have been good too, but I took it when there were the least people!!
Let me know what you think. |

He, He, you were aslo in Spain recently... but we were not in the same region. I can esaly imagine that it was not possible to take the picture without anybody but here I like very much the symetry. It's also always very nice too see all those details on spanish buildings. Well done!

Hi Mark,
Great picture again! The details are very well visible and I like the lighting here too, very well done! :-D
Groetjes,
Lars
It's a nice symetrical shot Mark. I like the two levels with the fountain at the front and the building behind.
I like the people in the picture as I think they add an extra level, a splash of colour and a measurement of scale.
Hi Mark
I agree with Paul about the people.
You have picked out the Moorish detail in the building well; the lacelike decoration and the symmetrical arches.

I have saw a picture of this lion here in TE yet. I like your picture, but to me the lions are a little overexpossed. Another angle of the fountain like that: The Lions of Granada, could reduce this problem.
I don't like the people too, I think using photoshop you can clean them out.
A picture only of the arcs can give a great graphic picture, you could try if you back there!
I made a workshop removing the people to you, hope you like!
Thanks for posting!
