| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
This photo was taken from a walkway which connects two parts of the palace together. It looks over the city and the mountains in the distance. There is also a viewpoint on the left which there is some people looking out from. I like the fact I have captured just these few people, any more and I would not like it.
I reduced the brightness and increased contrast a touch. |

Nice photo! The people give us an idea of the scale of the walls and the palace. Nice touch. The light is strong and bold just as it is in summer. Those bold blue skies are amazing. well done!
Nice colors and compo. It would be interesting more info about the Alhambra.
Regards,
Jorge

Hi Mark,
Nice composition. I like large areas of walls, because they nicely show, how big the fortress is. The border between the first level (the fortress) and the second one (the town in background) could be sharper to make a feel of depth stronger.
Thanks,
Marek
Great shot Mark. I agree that you usually try and avoid people in shots, but here they really help to give the scale of the palace.
The few clouds in an otherwise blue sky add interest. Good
Kath
Hi Mark - yes, just the right amount of people, enough to give perspective, and they'r not distracting from the view, I like the way the 2 red towers frame both sides.
Hi Mark,
Nice photo, the view is very nice and broad here, but maybe a more central focus is missing, I think you wanted to capture too much on one photo. I think if you would have zoomed in or cropped it a bit more, the composition would be a bit stronger. (Sorry, I am a bit harsh now.)
I like the colours here, I think the post processing job was a good one.
