This was probably one of my strongest emotions in photography! Waking up in my tent somewhere in the Alpujarra sierra, I saw the very first rays of sun shining through the almond trees.
It was a very delicate vision that I could hardly capture with my Ektachrome at that time. Thanks to digital image processing the contrast is somewhat improved and the rendering is closer to my initial sensation. I hope you'll like it.

Une très belle photo. J'ai grandi dans cette partie du monde, et la lumière que tu réussis a capturer ici fait partie des souvenirs fondamentaux de mon enfance.

Hi Eric, beautiful picture of the first morning rays. I like the combination of the dark parts with the bright shining green. Perhaps I would crop it a little to enlarge the lushy green portions. Thanks for sharing, Rgds, Michael
