So much colors in so much dirtiness. Impresive. You are make very good lines also, so composition working very well. All picture is well shaprned and colored. Especially I like tones of colors. Frame is wonderful. Good job.

Well spotted Robert, the texture and clarity of the shot is just perfect.
The contrast between the used part of the wire rope and the still greased, dirty, unused part, is great.
Well spotted!

Very good Robert, looks like you had a good light to work with, the textures are fantastic, the cracks in the wood add dimention of age to the image, it is so greasy, very good, minimalistic presentation of the polluted world, love the composition.

Very interesting close-up picture, and your note goes so well with it! The texture are so sharp, I guess a B&W version would be nice too, but the subtle colors coming out of the blackness are also very interesting.
It takes a good eye to see beauty in the middle of such mundane and "dirty" objects. Well done.

Very graphic, and a very interesting image. The oil on the steel hawser adds to the 'grity' image, and the patterns it makes as it coils round the capstan makes for a captivating shot.
Well spotted and photographed :)

Great textural study, Robert. The subtle light is just about perfect to accentuate the surfaces of the oily metal cables and the wooden piece. I'm very glad you kept this one in color and didn't convert to b&w (which looks like a tempting thing to do). Very good.

Missed this one before. The soft light moulding the shapes and textures here are just lovely. The ropes makes a fine graphism broken by the verticals in the wood. The different layers of more and less tared ropes is a nice detail. Very well seen and done!
