Glory of Al-Andalus
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe [Spanish] |
Constructed in century XIII, the "Alcázar Genil" ("Alcázar" means fortress or palace) belonged to the mother of king Boabdil and was used like recreation property. It had a pond of more than 120 meters in length where maneuverses of naval battles were celebrated. The interior is beautifully decorated with inscriptions in Arab language and tiles in "La Alhambra" style. One of the inscriptions, dedicated to the king Yusuf I, says: "Glory to our lord the Sultan, whose words are beautiful and its generosity gestures are full of glory. The just and intrepid king ".

Hello Pepe,
The roof covered with old type of terracotta tiles are creating splendid texture while repeating windows on facade making your photo more rich. I like shadows, blue sky through windows a lot but especially untouched, natural colors, sharpness are perfect. Congratulations.
Best Regards,

Hello Guisado,
you photo is very exciting. first, the simple shot with many meanings hidden in it. It allows the viewers to explore every details in your photo; tiles. roofs. minaret, shadow, windows and the sky. It is very explorative to note that it sharp and outstanding. Technically you balanced the photo very well, very symmetrical, which challenge the viewers.
The details allows viewers to interprete: Is it a mosque? Or once a mosque?
All in all, its a stunningly impressive.
I like it very much and hoping to learn a lot from you.
Another deed of you is that you inactivate the point rating, you are such a humble person who think not of such importance in human rating. I believe that too, coz everyone have their own worldview.
Regards,
Foozi
