Hey colin, when I first saw this shot I thought it was quite uninteresting, then I realised that it wasnt very normal at all, and the more I loko at it the more interesting I find it! On a bank like this you woudl expect just a straight decline, or steps, not a combination of the two! And the way in which it is built is gerat too, look at how neat it is. Just goes to show tarmac isnt always the way forward!
I was in Andalucia in early summer, and never saw anything quite like this!
Well captured at this angle, I think a frontal angle woudl have given us the impression it was just steps, and as we now know its not. I see traffic signs at the top of the shot, cars dont drive up and down this do they??
how strange....imagine having to climb up those after a night out! But, then I am guessing they do not have a problem with binge drinking either. I like that you have included the front door of the house here, as it gives an indication of how normal this is...must be quite an interesting view to see people struggling up those steps...also it makes for good excercise and keeping fit.
