Going softly down to the level of 576 m. through a montaninous area, we will arrive to a small village which around 1000 inhabitants.
Sorrounded by a vegetation rich in pines, cork oaks and undergrowth, this place which already existed in the XIII c. is today called Canillas de Albaida. It was known to the Arabs as "The White One".

Descendiendo suavemente hasta los 576 m. de altitud a traves de una zona montañosa, llegamos a una pequeña poblacion que ronda los 1000 habitantes. Rodeada de una vegetacion mediterranea rica en pinos, monte bajo y alcornoques, este lugar del que ya se tenia noticia en el s. XIII es conocido hoy como Canillas de Albaida. Los arabes por su parte la conocieron como "La Blanca".

Buena foto! Una foto que es un buen ejemplo de como son los pueblos en Andalucia. Una plaza muy bonita y tranquila... El color super blanco de las casas y toda esa vegetacion son impresionantes.

This is a fabulous shot. The colouring is perfect and the perspective has some terrific repetive elements which add to the nature of the photo. It's beautiful.

Precioso rincón de Canillas de Albaida, has captado muy bien el ambiente de paredes encaladas y los balcones engalanados de macetas y flores, la luz y los colores me gustan.

PD.: nos daremos una vuelta por el mercado medieval de La Adrada uno de estos días, he oído que vale la pena.

A great perspective in this wonderfully composed image. The shot is well balanced. The lighting conditions look difficult, but you have managed good exposure. Very nice indeed.

Estos blancos pueblos andaluces son preciosos, siempre tan limpios y resplandecientes.
En la foto captas muy bien este ambiente y consigues un excelente contraste entre los blancos, los negros del hierro forjado, la vida de las flores, la farola, y el cielo. Los colores han quedado perfectos, y la exposición es muy buena también.

It may be better to crop out the plastic chairs in the foreground. I like the picture. It really reminds me of my cycling holidays in Andalusia. Maybe next year again :-)

Hi Luis - this is really nice, the whitewashed architecture has a distinct mediterranean charm, maybe the plastic chairs can be erased in photoshop.
