This is nickey, one of the wittiest fellows you could ever meet. His health has being poorly for the last year oe so. This shot was taken on a golfing trip to Spain, we were in a pub playing pool and with only natural light coming through the window this cought Nickey as we best remember him.

I like this portrait George,
You have captured very well in the picture, the character you describe in words. The strong, directional lighting helps with the composition and helps to give the picture its interesting Vérité atmosphere.

In the circumstances you seem to describe, I can only guess that you may have mixed feelings about this picture. Nevertheless, and in any case, I am sure that you have produced a very worthy photographic memento of your friend.
