Photographer’s Note

The Alcázar is the royal palace of Sevilla. It is considered one of the finest examples of Mudéjar architecture, a style that embodies Moorish roots but from a time when Catholic Christians were in control. The buildings and gardens that one visits today originated from the time of Pedro I, in the 14th century. The "baths" shown here are a large rainwater tank, created for irrigation of the gardens during the long dry summer season.

A fascinating piece of architecture and an outstanding composition. Apart from the historical importance of the baths one can admire here the beautiful pattern of those arches doubled in the fine reflections almost symmetrically and enhanced by the sideway light. The photo has a pretty good sense of depth and perspective - resulting in a tridimensional impression. I like the soft warm colours and the excellent sharpness which makes us appreciate the textures of the walls.
It seems you had no tripod (there is no mention of it in the exif data) so it's really a fine achievement.
