Photographer's Note

For Krzysztof Dera (Fis2) who professes a liking for church organs as well as windows.

This is one of two similar pipe organs to be found in Granada Cathedral.

They were built in the mid eighteenth century by Leonardo Ávila. The Gospel organ was built from 1744 to 1764 and has a romantic character, while the Epistle one was built from 1746 to 1749 and still retains most of its baroque character, although rather different from the original characteristics.

I'm afraid I do not know which of the two organs my picture represents.
