Seen whilst wandering one of several streets crossing the grounds of the Alhambra in Granada, Andalusia, Spain.

The Alhambra is a Nasrid "palace city" in Granada in Southern Spain. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984.

It is regarded as Granada's most emblematic monument and is certainly one of the most visited in Spain. It consists of a defensive zone, the Alcazaba, together with others of a residential and formal state character, the Nasrid Palaces and, lastly, the palace, gardens and orchards of El Generalife.

An excellent photo of this balcony, it is seen very clearly from this POV and in this bright sunlight. The level is detail is perfect. The warm tones add a nice contrast with the blue sky.

One more, Stephen, and only to say that this is not at all a typical Arab designed balcony.
The woodwork in such style is mostly seen in the northern part of Spain, and while we visited the Alhambra in 06/1998 the local guide told us that many craftsmen from all over the country were taking part in the building of this magnificent palace. So it came out with an abundance of beautiful different artistic and architecture's motifs.
Anyway, a fine view upwards, exquisite clear photo.
