Photographer's Note

I was quite surprised to see these Roman ruins in Cordoba, which is far more well known for the Mezquita and bridge. They were only discovered in the 1950's during the expansion and reconstruction of City Hall. "Its construction began during the reign of Emperor Claudius (41-54 AD) and ended some forty years later, during the reign of Emperor Domitian (81-96 CE)." More information here:
