This boat was escorting a big warship which was leaving the harbour. You can see the ship in the background. Unfortunately I can't remember was there something really special event that this was related. I was only visiting the city for a few hours and actually this photo is from a boat which takes people to the other side of the coast.
But I do remeber that this wasn't the only boat escorting the ship. There was so many other ships!
This boat was the official escort being the boat of the coatsguards. I think it's some kind of habit to escort some important ships, wish them good luck :)
Hopefully you like the pic because it's one of my favevourites! I love the red colour of the boat and I rarely get photos of a moving object that would be as sharp as this one. |
