Photographer's Note

Another one from Toledo. This is an overview (not entirely) of the center of the old quartier. What we see here are the Gothic Cathedral and the Alcazar (a kind of Castilian fortress which used to work temporary as a palace as well).
The rest of the photo is a pile of untidy tile roofs.

These symbolizes the two main powers of the Middle Ages in Spain; the Catholic Church and the Army. The untidy houses represent the Spanish people; always confronted, diverse and without a common voice against the rulling powers, but plenty of wonderful details, humble, honest and always surprising.
