Photographer’s Note

Well, I want to dedicate this photo to our friend Stego (Jose Pires).

And this time the photo was taken in Cocoland (what strange!!). I was looking for the sunset but it was a cloudy day. Anyway, I thought it could be interesting and I went to Robledo.
Robledo is a place in Cocoland where you can wonderful sunsets... and that's what I wanted.

The clouds... well, they were a problem but I tried to take advantadge of them. And I made a few picture... and also a few panos.

What is another super wonderful shot!
Bold framework/composition and sharp focusing in the detail are excellent as usual! The usage of fish-eye lens is so significant and effective. Color gradation of the sky is splendid. Congratulation on your masterpiece!

El efecto producido sobre el trigal con este montaje de 24 fotos es absolutamente fantástico, el cielo nublado también es muy acertado.
Me gusta el sentimiento maravilloso de espacio que se libra de tu foto.

Magnifico trabajo con 24 fotos, la foto esta muy buena, me gusta mucho la profundidad de campo y las impresionantes nubes. Buen efecto circular en el terreno.
No veo a José en la lista tengo que avisarle.

Hola Carlos.
En este caso aunque no hayas tenido puesta de sol, no importa, el cielo tiene tal variedad de matices que a la vista de la foto parece que contemplo un cuadro al oleo, las formas de los surcos del campo contribuyen a esta sensacion, ademas me gusta asi un poco oscura.

Voy a escribir en inglés para que todos pueden leer, aunque que no voy a decir nada de interesante.

Well... I am speechless, touched and flattered with this dedicatory. I wish I could dedicate you something remotely as beautiful and achieved. The sky, with those colours and light filtered by the texture created by the clouds is just fantastic, but the lines on the grass, perhaps bent by the wide angle effect produced by the stitch also contributes much to the great impact of the image. I am gain surprised that you needed so much images taken with a short focal length, but the result is gorgeous. Maybe when I grow up (as a photographer) I can get an image that rivals with this one, I am sure I could find landscapes alike this one in "my Alentejo", but I could also visit cocolandia, I am sure I can get the hard to get permit with your help. :D

I wonder why didn't you crop just 19 pixels to be able to upload a large version. I have click at least times in the photo hoping that there was one.

malgrat la lògica distorsió deguda a l'ensamblatge de 24 fotos, el resultat és intens i té molta força gràfica, sobretot per aquest cel impressionant i molt fotogènic.

Hi carlos,

What a wonderful landscape!
I like the contrast between the field and sky with cloud, and it draws out a good effect for the whole on atmosphere to which evening sun faintly stretches.
It's a very excellent work that the charm of the wide-angle lens is demonstrated by panoramatic view.
