Photographer's Note

Hello friends,

this is the Alquezar collegiate, a religious-military complex emerged as Muslim fortress erected by the commander Asad ibn Khalaf in the early ninth century, as head of an independent waliato of Huesca cora, right on the border of territories Christians. Hence the name: Al-Qasr Banu Jasaf, or "house of the descendants of Khalaf." He was recaptured in 1065 by Sancho Ramírez.

In WS 1 and WS 2 images of the building from its base.

Hola amigos,

Saludos
