‘Algodonales - Santa Ana in Spring’

Algodonales is one of the white villages in the province of Cadiz, Andalusia, located at 118 kilometers from the provincial capital.
It is situated on the slopes of the Sierra de Líjar at an altitude of 370 meters and lives mainly on agriculture and rural tourism.
Algodonales is also known for its craftsmanship, more precisely its guitars.

The village is considered to be of Moorish origins.

Among its most important buildings is the neoclassical parish church of Santa Ana that was consecrated in 1784.
It’s this church that you see on the picture.

the point of view is excellent, we see the lovely church emerging from behind the trees and the array of fences. Bonjour ²Paul,
un ciel très bleu, ne le serai-il pas un peu trop ? A côté de cela, les teintes de cette glises rouges et jaunes sont très harmonieuses entre elles mais aussi avec les verts et ces bleus avoisinants.
J'apprécie cette absence totale de distorsions.

Masterly composition with effective lead-in taking the eye into the distant and up to the subject and the mood you have captured is brilliant. Nice crisp shot of this lovely incredible church, and accompanied by the interesting narrative which always adds so much to one's appreciation. the architecture of this church, with its yellow tones, is outlined in the middle of the houses of the village, with the mountain in background and a nice contrast with the blue of the sky.

I'd say it's a perfect postcard-like photo :) I also like it that there are no people (tourists) around blocking the view or just hanging around..
Very beautiful place. Excellent POV. The building of the church is very picturesque - especially because of its red and yellow colours :)
