Cedeira is a Spanish municipality in the province of La Coruña, in the autonomous community of Galicia. It is located on the north coast of the Atlantic coast, on the eponymous river draining the Condominas river. Its population is 7,511 inhabitants in 2008 according to the INE.El name comes from the Latin cetarea.

History.
