That gather downward to the sea
We know as Death;
And thither every flood delivers
The pride and pomp of seigniory
That forfeiteth;
Thither, the rivers in their splendor;
Thither, the streams of modest worth,
The rills beside them;
Till there all equal they surrender;
And so with those who toil on earth,
And those who guide them.

que es el morir;
allí van los señoríos
derechos a se acabar
y consumir;
allí los ríos caudales,
allí los otros, medianos
y más chicos,
allegados son iguales
los que viven por sus manos
y los ricos.

The reflection that you see was photographed in the river Genil, in its pass in the center of Granada.
The Genil is the second bigger river of Andalusia, and it is born in Sierra Nevada.
For some reason it reminded me a poem of the great spanish poet Jorge Manrique.

Wow, wow, y wow. Bellísimos colores. El reflejo crea una imagen distorsionada, pero bien definida. La hoja complementa a la perfección, increíble que un detalle tan pequeño pueda hacer un efecto tan grade. Una imagen muy bien concebida y ejecutada. Felicidades. Gabriel

Ah, Markos, eres el Jorge Manrique de TrekEarth... (esa frase me suena a plagio, espero que el dueño de la frase no se moleste).

Únicamente la foto en sí ya es pura poesía... no vemos el árbol o la realidad, vemos una reflejo cambiante de la realidad... El ondeante reflejo y el detalle de la hoja le dan un toque muy especial... Bravo por la foto.

A beautiful picture, to illustrate a beautiful poem! I really like the way the reflection distorts the branches of the tree and the presence of the single, golden leaf is just marvellous. Thanks for this moment of contemplation and peacefulness.

Θα έλεγα ότι είναι μια καταπληκτική φωτογραφία με πολυ καλή διαχείρηση του χρωματος, εστιασμένη πολύ σωστά και έντονη την παρουσια του ρομαντισμού. Μπράβο.
